A Welcome from the
Grades 3-5 Elementary School Guidance Counselor
As the upper elementary school counselor, I work
with all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. There are
three main components to the elementary counseling
program, including…
Life Labs: Entire classroom instruction focused on
social/emotional, academic, and career development.
Lunch Groups: Groups consist of 5-8 students which
meet regularly to cover a specific topic of
interest. Topics include (but not limited to)
friendship, grief/loss, stress, problem solving, and
choices.
Individual Students: One-on-one sessions focused on
social/emotional, academic, and career support.
I find ASK Elementary to be an exciting place for
many reasons. The students at ASK are a joy to work
with and bring a smile to my face daily. The growth
that students make academically, socially, and
emotionally during this time set the foundation for
the rest of their lives. I feel fortunate to have
the privilege to work with all of your children in
grades 3-5 and look forward to meeting you all.
