Greetings from the Social Studies Department!

Our Social Studies Department seeks to prepare students for success at the best universities in the world. We offer challenging courses in World History, American History, and electives in Psychology and Sociology. Though all of our classes are rigorous, our strongest students are encouraged to take AP United States History and AP World History. A student who achieves success in any Social Studies course here at ASK will be a student with strong writing skills, an excellent command of the historical narrative or course specific knowledge, and the ability to approach a topic within the Social Sciences critically and with an eye for detail. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Russ Williams
Social Studies Department Chair
