Kindergarten 1 (KG 1)
Learning
activities, in our 4 year-old Kindergarten I
Program, are based on content determined by the
interests of young children and by the learning
experiences they encounter within their school and
their multicultural community. The classroom is
organized around centers. They include, but are not
limited to, art, blocks, listening, painting,
“hands-on” mathematics, dramatic play, and early
literacy.
Session times are: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 11:30
a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There is bus service available.
Class size averages 20 children in each session so
that the appropriate adult/child ratio is
maintained. One teacher and two full-time
instructional assistants are present in all
sessions.
