A Welcome from the
Intern Assistant Principal
Welcome to the American School of Kuwait website.
I would like to extend a very special welcome to our
students and their parents for the 2008 - 2009
school year. As the new Elementary Assistant
Principal (CDC - Grade 2), I am pleased to have the
opportunity to work closely with the ASK community.
We eagerly await the arrival of your children who
will bring with them their hopes and aspirations for
a new and exciting school year. Each student
comes to school excited to learn and our goal is to
sustain that excitement. The students bring
with them background knowledge and experiences which
add to the diversity and richness of our learning
environment. Students are encouraged to ask
questions and through dialogue and collaboration,
they begin to feel valued in the learning process.
Parent involvement in their children's education is
a key to their success as lifelong learners.
At ASK, parents, teachers, support staff, and
administration work in partnership to promote the
attitudes needed to guide and support the learning
process for the children.
I look forward to the excitement of the year ahead
and the opportunity to further our learning with
you, our school community.
