YEARBOOK

Prerequisite: Teacher and Administration permission

This course is all about taking pictures and meeting deadlines. Students will learn about basic photography and the difference between vibrant and dull pictures. They will learn what it is like to be a part of a major publication while developing their graphic design skills using both PhotoShop and InDesign. The students’ work will culminate in the publication of the Middle School yearbook. Students will also have to work outside of class, including after school. This is an advanced course for self-motivated and confident students (recommend GPA 3.0 or higher). Access to a digital camera is necessary.  It is also strongly recommended that students should have some experience in Photoshop I.
