MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWSPAPER

Prerequisite: Teacher and Administration permission

Reporting, editing, photography, and much more are all skills that will be taught and learned throughout the duration of this course. We will be working with the Adobe platform of programs, InDesign and Photoshop, to aid us in producing several issues of a Middle School student paper as well as collaborating with your Language Arts classroom to practice your writing and editing skills. The Falcon Voice, the middle school newspaper, will be written and produced by the class. This is an advanced course for motivated, confident students (recommend GPA 3.0 or higher) involving some after-school participation. It is also strongly recommended that students should have some experience in Photoshop I.
