In this course, students will become familiar with the terminology, parts and functions of basic personal computer. Students will be discovering how to use computers and technology in order to enhance their academic performance while at the same time becoming more familiar with the various functions of different word processing, desktop publishing, and presentation programs. They will learn how to give that research paper an “academic edge.” With the skills students develop in this course, they are bound to be more successful and better prepared for the subjects they will encounter as they move through their academic and daily lives.
