A Welcome from the Arabic Principal

Ask has truly excelled and improved throughout its thirty nine years. Without the help of many individuals ASK would not be where it is today. Individuals on the board were those who sacrificed their time and effort to get ASK where it is today. Mr. Ibrahim S. Dabdoub is such an individual. His former commitment and dedication was truly exceptional. It is individuals like Mr. Dabdoub that truly make a difference in ASK.

Mr. Dabdoub was a member of the board at ASK from 1985-1988. He became chairman in 1988 and served until 1992. He dedicated his time in order to bring out actions that were planned. Mr Dabdoub worked with the financial committee to improve the campus and the academic life of the Students. He worked with the negotiating team and the Ministry of Education. Who eventually obtained ASK's Hawalli campus that we still use today. "I believe and I still believe that this was and still is the best campus ASK has ever resided in." say Mr. Dabdoub.

"There is a great difference between my work at the National Bank of Kuwait and ASK. At ASK the acquisition of knowledge is the driving force in the academic world." "To peruse goals such as these makes an individual feel content" ASK was fortunate to have individuals like Mr. Dabdoub contributing their time and their effort to uphold its reputation as a highly acclaimed school.

Mr. Dabdoub fortunately, had the view of both an individual working in ASK and that of a parent. His son graduated from ASK in 1990. As a parent his general opinion about ASK was. "I was happy that my son was getting good quality education. I, like most parents, am proud that ASK is a first class school in Kuwait. I believe that one of the greatest things ASK has excelled in is maintaining a reputation as the best school in Kuwait. Furthermore, I believe that ASK has excelled in providing an excellent education." ASK is proud to have such a high opinion from someone who once contributed his time and for someone who had enough trust to allow ASK to provide the education for his son.

ASK, though diligence and hard work, built an excellent school with a great reputation. To thank just one individual for all the school's success is impossible. It is individuals like Mr. Dabdoub whose efforts made a difference and whose work will always be remembered throughout ASK's history.

The board plays an important role in the running of the school. Their support and efforts have paid off from the start. And will continue to do so as the year's progress.
