Welcome to the American School of Kuwait and our Honors and Advanced Placement Classes. Below is a list of AP courses being offered for the 2010-2011 school year. If you are enrolled in one of these courses, or for students new to ASK, you plan to enroll in one of these courses once you arrive in Kuwait, please download the attached PDF and ensure that you complete the Summer Assignment by the first day of school. In order to be enrolled in the course for the 2010-2011 school year, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Complete and turn in the Summer Assignment for each AP or Honors course in which you are enrolled on September 14, 2010 (the first day of school). If you are not in school on the first day of school, the assignment must be e-mailed to the teacher as an attachment.
2. Be ready to take an exam on the material covered on the summer assignment during the first week of school – test date to be determined by each individual teacher.
Please e-mail your teacher with any problems or concerns. For students new to ASK, if your summer assignment requires a textbook that you do not have access to, complete the portions of the summer assignment that you can do. You may e-mail Mrs. Waudby, the high school assistant principal with additional questions at waudbyt@ask.edu.kw.
